What's up, Radiant icons and welcome back to Dare to Be Iconic.
Speaker:The podcast made for Icons daring to be themselves.
Speaker:I'm your host, Amanda Paolicelli and oh my God, you guys, we have made it to the
Speaker:season one finale of Dare to Be Iconic.
Speaker:Hold your applause.
Speaker:We did it, everyone.
Speaker:If you would have told me on March 27th, when the premiere actually
Speaker:happened, I would not have believed you.
Speaker:I would have been like, wow, we made it.
Speaker:Well, here we are.
Speaker:We've made it to the season one finale and Wow.
Speaker:A whirlwind it has been, everyone, since the podcast has premiered,
Speaker:it's just been a journey, and I am just so excited and grateful that
Speaker:I get to share this with you guys.
Speaker:But, before we get into all the tea of the last couple of months and
Speaker:everything I've learned that's led me to this point, right here, the season
Speaker:one finale of Dare to be Iconic.
Speaker:Yes, I will keep saying that because, oh my god, I can't
Speaker:believe we made it, you guys.
Speaker:Anyway, If you haven't already, make sure to connect with me on socials, and grab
Speaker:your copy of Breakup with the Past, Fall in Love with the Future, your five step
Speaker:guide in turning your pain into power.
Speaker:And all that can be found in the show notes below.
Speaker:Okay, Radiant Icons, the time is here.
Speaker:Our last tea time sesh until season two.
Speaker:I am very sad, you guys, but the podcast truly has changed the trajectory of
Speaker:my life in ways that I never would have thought had been possible.
Speaker:All of my little dreams that were in my heart That, you know, a
Speaker:lot of people made fun of me for.
Speaker:A lot of people doubted me, but I always believed in myself, I do have to say.
Speaker:Um, They came true all at the same time of this podcast coming out, and I
Speaker:think it's been beautiful to not only see the growth within myself, but to
Speaker:kind of see the journey be documented.
Speaker:Um, digital footprint is real, you guys.
Speaker:But, the plus side of the digital footprint, because I know we all talk
Speaker:about the negatives, the plus side is that I get to see the journey I've been
Speaker:on, and watching it, and listening to myself, is One of the most surreal
Speaker:feelings that I truly encourage you guys, if you haven't already, to do
Speaker:a video diary in you know, addition to your written journal, obviously.
Speaker:I mean, go check out Break Up With The Past, Fall In Love With The
Speaker:Future if you haven't, your five step attitude, your payments of power, the
Speaker:best self help journal, I think, out there on the market, but I'm biased.
Speaker:Anyway, anyway, you guys
Speaker:This journey just has been so beautiful to witness the growth
Speaker:that I've had in myself and in my confidence and in my business.
Speaker:So this Tea Time Sesh is all about the four iconic lessons I've learned on
Speaker:my journey to the season one finale.
Speaker:So are you ready, Radiant Icons?
Speaker:Because your Tea Time Sesh.
Speaker:The last one for season one is starting now.
Speaker:I'm getting a little bit emotional even looking at this first lesson, so Excuse
Speaker:me guys if I tear up But the first one is believe in yourself and your vision.
Speaker:When I first started Dare to be Iconic, when I had the vision
Speaker:of it back in August of 2023.
Speaker:Wow.
Speaker:It's going to be almost a year since I was laid off.
Speaker:And that, that also changed my life for the better.
Speaker:But when I first started Dare to be Iconic and I reached out to former
Speaker:colleagues of mine, I had some that supported me, like my mentor, Sara.
Speaker:She's literally the best and she helped me so much.
Speaker:She still does to this day, but I had other people.
Speaker:Lots of people, actually tell me that there was no way Dare to be Iconic would
Speaker:succeed because they don't see in a way that it would be impactful to others
Speaker:or they couldn't quite wrap their head around this vision that I had of Turning
Speaker:my pain into power, from my journey of a letter in a box at my front door
Speaker:to where I am now and sharing my life.
Speaker:Like, people didn't understand the vision I have for it, and that's okay.
Speaker:But it did suck.
Speaker:But, the biggest lesson in believing in yourself and your vision and
Speaker:trusting in it is that if I would have let every hater, every doubter,
Speaker:get in my way, we would not be here.
Speaker:Dare to be Iconic would not be where it is today.
Speaker:And even since I was like a little girl, I've always had these really big dreams.
Speaker:I've always been a very small girl with very big dreams.
Speaker:My first dream in life was to be an actress and to win an
Speaker:Oscar and all that good stuff.
Speaker:I remember how badly I was bullied for the dreams that I had.
Speaker:Even though I was getting bullied relentlessly, I never stopped dreaming.
Speaker:And
Speaker:wow, I didn't think I was gonna get emotional.
Speaker:But no matter how many times people told me no, or they doubted in me and
Speaker:my vision, or they just thought it was some stupid dream that was never going
Speaker:to become a reality, I always believed in myself and I always kept going.
Speaker:I never stopped, and I think the beautiful thing about this Dare to Be Iconic journey
Speaker:is that even when it got really hard, and even when I was like wow, like maybe
Speaker:they are right, something within me told me, no, don't give up because there's
Speaker:so much magic in this dream of yours.
Speaker:And I think the biggest thing I've learned is that no matter how many people tell you
Speaker:no, you always have to tell yourself yes.
Speaker:Because you will never know what will happen if you don't go after
Speaker:the dreams that you have because your dreams are in your heart for a reason.
Speaker:And it's up to you to go and chase them.
Speaker:There's a reason they're in your heart, so why not follow them.
Speaker:And I hope you guys can take from this first lesson is that no matter how many
Speaker:times you hear the word no when you're going towards your dreams, never give up.
Speaker:there is this incredible power behind your dreams.
Speaker:And it is up to you to make them a reality.
Speaker:So create the magic that you want for yourself.
Speaker:Write the story you want to star in,and dare to be iconic.
Speaker:Okay, let's get to lesson two now that I've cried and shed a tear.
Speaker:You know what, I'm actually very surprised that I haven't cried
Speaker:earlier on in the whole season.
Speaker:Because every time I'm talking to any of my friends, I'm always crying.
Speaker:Okay, but you know, on the podcast, we waited until the last episode, you guys.
Speaker:So you're welcome.
Speaker:Anyway, now I think lesson two definitely goes hand in hand with lesson one.
Speaker:And I'm going to be completely honest.
Speaker:I stole lesson two from my vision board.
Speaker:It is a quote that has resonated with me since I put it on there.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Last year going into this year because we all know my word for 2024 is trust, right?
Speaker:And I knew back in 2023 I wanted to have the dare to be iconic
Speaker:podcast So, I knew that all came down to trusting in myself, right?
Speaker:And believing in my vision and all that good stuff that I just,
Speaker:you know, cried about to you guys.
Speaker:But, this quote has been playing in my mind over and over and over as every
Speaker:little dream has come true in my life.
Speaker:And it is, the only way to find your voice is to use it.
Speaker:I thought there was a certain blueprint in order to be successful,
Speaker:in order to have people listen or tune in or subscribe or You know,
Speaker:follow me on all the socials, right?
Speaker:I thought I had to be like everyone else because they were having so much success.
Speaker:So I thought, Oh, if I just, you know, use my voice, like they're using
Speaker:theirs, I should be successful, right?
Speaker:No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker:What I realized is that this quote is talking about embracing who you are.
Speaker:But I wasn't following my own advice.
Speaker:Like, you would be, I'm gonna be so for real.
Speaker:I thought I had to be like everyone else in order to succeed, but in reality,
Speaker:I just had to show up as myself.
Speaker:And eventually, I will get more confident in who I am.
Speaker:I can see the difference in me embracing who I am and showing up more
Speaker:authentically every time I press record.
Speaker:Every time.
Speaker:I put out a video.
Speaker:Every time I filmed a Tea Time with Amanda, I was getting more confident
Speaker:and more comfortable in my skin, which is the whole message of what I'm doing.
Speaker:Daring to be yourself.
Speaker:I have this iconicness in me that is unique to me, right?
Speaker:And why am I not bringing that into the work that I do?
Speaker:The more I showed up being who I am, the more I was able to find my voice.
Speaker:And I think it's so beautiful now, to kind of be on the other end of it,
Speaker:and being so confident and comfortable in not being afraid to talk about
Speaker:the things I want to talk about, and have an opinion, because Lord knows I
Speaker:always have an opinion on everything!
Speaker:But Once I started accepting that everything started
Speaker:to fall into place for me.
Speaker:And I was able to find my voice and find my my confidence along the way
Speaker:because I was daring to be myself I think that's what's beautiful about it.
Speaker:Lesson three, your community will find you.
Speaker:Now, you guys.
Speaker:When I started the podcast, I was like, no one is going to listen to this.
Speaker:No one except my aunt Sharon, my dad, and maybe my best friends.
Speaker:You know, I didn't think that I would have as big and beautiful
Speaker:of a community that I have now.
Speaker:The Radiant Icon community has truly been amazing.
Speaker:The biggest blessing in my life out of all of this, out of all the cool
Speaker:things that I've been able to do.
Speaker:The biggest blessing has been you guys.
Speaker:When I was a little girl, in addition to the three facts that I would always
Speaker:say about myself, I'm a star, I'm gonna win the Oscar, and I'm building
Speaker:an empire, I wanted to build a community of people, That inspired,
Speaker:empowered, and encouraged others.
Speaker:And that we all would come together and support one another.
Speaker:I always had that little dream.
Speaker:And I always thought, oh my god, it would be so cool to have.
Speaker:And I built it.
Speaker:Like, I actually did it.
Speaker:Like, that one dream, I really thought, oh, I hope that happens,
Speaker:because it would be so cool.
Speaker:And it's happened right before my eyes.
Speaker:I think the beauty of the Radiant Icon community is that we all have
Speaker:come together for one common thing to empower, encourage, and inspire
Speaker:others to embrace who they are.
Speaker:And we're all on this journey together.
Speaker:And I know I keep saying it.
Speaker:And I will continue to say it!
Speaker:The Dare to Be Iconic journey is not only an individual one.
Speaker:It is a collective one.
Speaker:So to see so many beautiful, radiant icons find Dare to be Iconic and become
Speaker:a part of this community and encourage each other and uplift each other and
Speaker:just the messages that I receive that this podcast has truly impacted so many
Speaker:people and that it's inspired them to start their own podcast or step outside of
Speaker:their comfort zone or to be more confident when they talk about Formula One.
Speaker:Like, it is the most beautiful thing that I have seen.
Speaker:And I am so honored to be a part of it.
Speaker:And I think it all comes down to, again, believing in your vision and trusting
Speaker:in it and accepting who you are.
Speaker:And I think we all gravitated towards this community because we're all daring
Speaker:to be ourselves and we're all just trying to figure it out along the way together,
Speaker:and I'm so honored to be a part of it and your community will find you, you
Speaker:guys, and I'm so, so happy that you guys are in the Radiant Icon community.
Speaker:It truly means a lot.
Speaker:Okay, now let's get to lesson four.
Speaker:Oh my god, I'm having too much fun with this episode.
Speaker:It's like I don't want season one to end.
Speaker:I know it needs to.
Speaker:But anyway, lesson four.
Speaker:Take breaks and set boundaries.
Speaker:Hmm.
Speaker:Well, if you guys haven't noticed my life, the last couple of
Speaker:months has been so crazy busy.
Speaker:I've gone to Spain, I had the magazine release, I hit 1k followers
Speaker:on LinkedIn, and Lando Norris, oh, by the way, I did not mention
Speaker:this until now, I can't believe it.
Speaker:Lando Norris, you know, no big deal or whatever, but he, like, liked my
Speaker:comment on his Instagram page like that.
Speaker:As you can see, a lot's happened and it's been a whirlwind.
Speaker:It's been a whirlwind, and the growth has been insane, it's been amazing to see.
Speaker:But with growth comes its own challenges.
Speaker:Like, there comes the imposter syndrome.
Speaker:There comes the self doubt.
Speaker:There comes the anxiety.
Speaker:The fear of not doing enough.
Speaker:Oh my god.
Speaker:The fear of not doing enough.
Speaker:No matter how much I do, I still will always think, I'm not doing enough.
Speaker:And I know that's bad.
Speaker:I know that's really, really bad.
Speaker:Which is why we got the season one finale.
Speaker:Because I realized, you guys, I need time to reset.
Speaker:I need time to take a breather.
Speaker:I need time to set some boundaries within myself, right?
Speaker:I also work a regular nine to five job on top of this.
Speaker:I am a little bit of everywhere all the time, and it's one of the most Exciting
Speaker:times in my life, that's for sure.
Speaker:It's amazing and I feel on top of the world.
Speaker:But also, it's been very anxiety inducing for the last couple of them.
Speaker:I've just been on the go, so much.
Speaker:And I haven't had time to take a breath.
Speaker:And I think it's so important to remember that we all need to take a break.
Speaker:We all need to breathe.
Speaker:We all need to take care of ourselves and make ourselves a priority.
Speaker:And I think in the last couple of weeks, I've put myself on the back burner because
Speaker:of all these amazing, exciting projects.
Speaker:And I know I still have more coming up that I haven't been able to tell
Speaker:you guys about because I can't talk about them until they come out.
Speaker:But you know, I have so many things going on that I haven't
Speaker:been able to Taken time for myself.
Speaker:I truly haven't just sat down and like taken a breath or done something for me
Speaker:that doesn't involve Dare to be Iconic or doesn't involve my nine to five.
Speaker:And even though all these amazing things were happening and like
Speaker:seeing all these dreams are coming true have been really cool.
Speaker:I've also felt extremely lonely.
Speaker:Because I haven't taken the proper care of myself, you know, like I,
Speaker:I truly haven't had time to reset and just Truly take everything in.
Speaker:I've just been on the go and I can't tell you guys to prioritize
Speaker:yourself and then not do it.
Speaker:There's one thing I'm not.
Speaker:I am not a hypocrite.
Speaker:So that's the reason why we have the season one finale so soon.
Speaker:I've cut it two weeks early because I needed the break.
Speaker:I'm listening to my body.
Speaker:I'm listening to my friends who keep telling me I need to take a break.
Speaker:You guys will be happy to hear.
Speaker:I'm finally taking a break.
Speaker:I'm taking a breather.
Speaker:I'm going to prioritize myself first, and I think that's what's been the
Speaker:missing puzzle piece within these last two months, specifically, is that I've
Speaker:put myself to the back burner, in order for everything else to succeed.
Speaker:And that's been great to an extent, like, you know, things have happened,
Speaker:things have moved, but how am I supposed to progress if my physical and mental
Speaker:health is going backwards, right?
Speaker:And If I'm not taking the time that I need in order to pour into my business,
Speaker:in order to pour into my content, in order to pour in all these other, you know,
Speaker:cups that I have going on in my life.
Speaker:There's this, this constant fear running through my body
Speaker:of oh, am I making a mistake?
Speaker:No, I'm not.
Speaker:I'm not.
Speaker:Even though my head right now, while I'm recording this, is saying, yes, you are.
Speaker:I'm not.
Speaker:And here's why.
Speaker:If I keep running myself ragged, how am I going to succeed?
Speaker:How am I going to be able to put my heart and soul into every project
Speaker:that I have coming up if I'm not 100 percent filled up with joy?
Speaker:And with peace, and with happiness, and with every little
Speaker:thing that makes Amanda, Amanda.
Speaker:How can I succeed in other aspects of my life if I don't take care of myself?
Speaker:I can't.
Speaker:In fact, I can't do that.
Speaker:It would be detrimental.
Speaker:Let alone everything else going on.
Speaker:So I'm taking a break.
Speaker:Don't worry, you guys, we have so many exciting things coming up in
Speaker:the fall, but the podcast is taking a little break until October 9th.
Speaker:That's when season two premieres you guys, but season one is coming to an
Speaker:end because your girl needs break.
Speaker:Your girl needs to breathe, reset, take some time for
Speaker:herself and enjoy life again.
Speaker:And those are my four lessons on my journey to the season one
Speaker:finale of Dare to be Iconic.
Speaker:Alright, Radiant Icons, that is your tea time sesh.
Speaker:I hope you enjoyed our last tea time sesh of season one.
Speaker:Oh my god, you guys, it has been such an emotional rollercoaster and it's
Speaker:very bittersweet to say, but I am so beyond excited for what season two
Speaker:has in store and In addition to, I am so, so excited for the upcoming
Speaker:announcements that are coming out this fall for Dare to be Iconic.
Speaker:It is actually something that I have on my vision board.
Speaker:So make sure to follow me on social so you can stay up to date to all the
Speaker:exciting things Dare to be Iconic.

Speaker:tuning in, for all your DMs.
Speaker:Every message that I get, every review that I see pop up about how Daring
Speaker:to be Iconic has changed your life or how it's inspired you within just one
Speaker:season is truly something so magical.
Speaker:Um,
Speaker:I think if you would have told Amanda on October 10th, 2022
Speaker:That she would have started her own business Inspired by her breakup and
Speaker:the journey that she took to rebuild herself afterwards and the impact
Speaker:It would have on so many people.
Speaker:I think she would have laughed in your face a little bit.
Speaker:It's like Okay, whatever i'm gonna be in the movies.
Speaker:She would have said that for sure but um,
Speaker:it's just so amazing to see the impact my voice and By me sharing my story
Speaker:has had on so many of you guys, and it's truly an honor to be a part of
Speaker:your Dare to be Iconic journey, and I am just so excited for season two,
Speaker:and for everything that is to come.
Speaker:I don't know why I'm crying like this is the end, because it's not,
Speaker:it's just the end of season one.
Speaker:But I actually am very surprised that I didn't cry in any of these episodes
Speaker:until the finale, so you know what, that's, that's a good one on you, Amanda.
Speaker:Um, bye.
Speaker:This has truly been the biggest blessing of my life, and I'm so
Speaker:excited and so happy that you guys are here on this journey.

Speaker:Bye.
