Amanda Paolicelli:

What's up, Radiant Icons and welcome back to Dare To Be

2

:

Iconic, the podcast made for icons

who are daring to be themselves.

3

:

I'm your host, Amanda Paolicelli, and for

today's Tea Time Sesh, we are celebrating

4

:

Radiant icons because we have made it.

5

:

We have made it to the season two finale.

6

:

Oh my goodness, you guys, I

never thought we'd get here.

7

:

To be honest with you, season two has

been one of the longest, but also most

8

:

challenging and empowering seasons of my

life, and I wouldn't wanna have it any

9

:

other way than ending it with a bang.

10

:

So let's just address

the elephant in the room.

11

:

If you've been on my social media,

especially on my Instagram, my TikTok, my

12

:

LinkedIn, then you, you know, a new era

has, uh, rung in for Dare to Be Iconic.

13

:

And today marks the start of it, and

this era, this next evolution has

14

:

all started because you know I love

to turn my pain into power, and your

15

:

girl is officially back on the market.

16

:

Your girl is officially

back on the market.

17

:

She is single, and it

never felt so damn good.

18

:

I love it.

19

:

I love it.

20

:

I am free.

21

:

I am liberated.

22

:

I am empowered.

23

:

And that is what this era, this

Radiant Reign era is all about.

24

:

It is about having the courage

to love yourself so deeply that

25

:

no matter who walks away, you

can reign radiantly and well.

26

:

That's what I did.

27

:

That is what I'm doing, and that

is what this next evolution of

28

:

Dare To Be Iconic is all about.

29

:

So before we get into all that piping hot

sea on this breakup, on this rebirth, on

30

:

this next evolution, this liberation, this

freedom, all these great, amazing words.

31

:

Make sure to connect with

me on socials radiant icons.

sure to connect with me on there.

35

:

It's Amanda Paolicelli.

36

:

All of my socials are linked

in the show notes below.

37

:

Now let's get to the piping hot tea.

38

:

So as I mentioned in the intro

for today's tea time sesh, your

39

:

girl is back on the market.

40

:

Your girl is single again and it

feels so damn good to be free.

41

:

It truly, truly does because for the last

two months of my three month relationship.

42

:

I was in so much mental and emotional

turmoil, and I know that bled into

43

:

my podcast episodes and my content.

44

:

I know that there was a wall up 'cause

I was dealing with so much and a

45

:

relationship shouldn't be that hard.

46

:

And the first thing that I want to say

is that everything that I said in those

47

:

previous podcast episodes, especially

What No One Tells You About Falling

48

:

Again and my conversation with Becs.

49

:

Everything I said in those episodes

about my previous relationship

50

:

and my ex-boyfriend are true.

51

:

I don't regret saying anything that I

said, those were my emotions at the time,

52

:

and I, I truly believe them and I think

it's so beautiful that I have this digital

53

:

diary, if you will, of these moments in

my life and I get to look back at them.

54

:

I get to listen on them,

I get to read them, right?

55

:

Whether it's the podcast, the blog,

social media content, whatever it is.

56

:

I get to look back at those moments in my

life, and I think it's so beautiful that

57

:

I let myself start to potentially fall

in love again and open up my heart and do

58

:

something that was so scary to me, which

was to put myself out there romantically.

59

:

Because I was guarding my heart for

three years because I was so anti-men.

60

:

And you know what?

61

:

That's never changed.

62

:

I'm still very anti-men, but

I was like, you know what?

63

:

Let me give myself this chance to

potentially fall in love, to put myself

64

:

out there romantically, and that is

what I needed in that point in time

65

:

in my life so that I can get to this

next evolution, which is the era we

66

:

are all stepping into together, radiant

icons, which is the Radiant Reign era.

67

:

Full of freedom and fearlessness and

liberation and empowerment, because that

68

:

is what I'm feeling right now from this

breakup and that relationship with my ex

69

:

everything I felt in that moment, it's so

beautiful that I was able to feel that.

70

:

And it was the last challenge that

I needed before I went into this

71

:

metamorphosis stage, this transformation

stage, and to shedding that old

72

:

Amanda, that confident, iconic Amanda.

73

:

She's still there, but I'm shedding

it and coming into this Amanda that I

74

:

am supposed to be, this free Amanda.

75

:

Because for the first time in 26 years

of my damn life, I am finally free.

76

:

I am liberated, and I am empowered, and I

had to have that relationship with my ex.

77

:

I had to experience the pain and the

beauty that was within that relationship

78

:

to become the Amanda, to evolve into the

Amanda that I am supposed to be, that

79

:

I am becoming, because it's within that

becoming radiant icons that we meet the

80

:

most powerful versions of ourselves, and

that is what's happening to me right now.

81

:

I also want to say that this

breakup is not about my ex.

82

:

He wasn't the right guy for me.

83

:

He wasn't my person.

84

:

And sometimes things don't

work out and that's okay.

85

:

And yeah, does it bruise the ego a

little bit that after three years of

86

:

guarding my heart, my first relationship

back into that right, of letting

87

:

myself feel and just like fall in

love and just experience it, right.

88

:

It, that it like low key kind of blew

up in my face after three months.

89

:

Yeah, of course.

90

:

That bruised my ego a lot.

91

:

And that's something that I, I still am

kind of a little bit still dealing with.

92

:

And you know what?

93

:

It's okay.

94

:

It's okay that things fail.

95

:

It's okay that things don't work out.

96

:

Every failed relationship, every

relationship that ends is getting

97

:

you that much closer to the person

that you are supposed to be with,

98

:

but also into that evolution stage

of who you are supposed to become.

99

:

I had to go into that relationship.

100

:

I had to meet my ex-boyfriend for a

reason, and just because it bruised my ego

101

:

a little bit that it didn't work out and

that, yeah, sometimes I do get mad at him.

102

:

Sometimes I am a little bit sad.

103

:

Okay, like, that's fine, that's normal.

104

:

I truly do wish my ex all the best.

105

:

Even though he already did have the

best, if I'm being so completely

106

:

honest with you, because I know.

107

:

I know I am that bitch.

108

:

I know I am that bitch and I know I

will be okay and I hope he's okay.

109

:

He just wasn't my person.

110

:

I am not going to villainize him.

111

:

I'm not gonna make him the bad guy

because he doesn't deserve that frankly.

112

:

Yeah, our relationship wasn't perfect.

113

:

There were some really great, amazing

moments that I will hold onto that

114

:

I learned so much from and I'll,

I'll get into that in a minute.

115

:

But the bad of our relationship.

116

:

It was bad.

117

:

It was not healthy.

118

:

It was not good.

119

:

A relationship should never be that hard.

120

:

As, as hard as I fought for it,

as as confused as I was in it.

121

:

That's not okay that that's not right.

122

:

That is not healthy.

123

:

And that shows me that that

relationship, that partnership

124

:

was never going to work out.

125

:

He is not my future husband.

126

:

Everything that he made me feel,

especially in those last two

127

:

months, my future husband would

never make me feel that way.

128

:

He would never do to me some of the

things that happened in that relationship.

129

:

It doesn't make my ex a bad guy.

130

:

It just means a relationship

wasn't meant to be.

131

:

We were never going to work out.

132

:

I'm really excited for my future.

133

:

So let's get into the lessons that I

learned and I'm, I'm gonna start with

134

:

a little excerpt from my journal.

135

:

It's actually from three

days after my breakup.

136

:

And I said:

137

:

"One of the most beautiful things

about this whole breakup is the

138

:

growth that I have seen in myself.

139

:

I've proved to myself that I can

put myself out there and carry

140

:

my own, that I don't rely on

external validation from others.

141

:

I know who I am and still carry

myself to a high degree and standard.

142

:

The self-confidence and awareness in

myself has never faltered, that inner

143

:

resilience was sturdy, and I didn't

internalize the breakup and take

144

:

it upon myself as "this is all me."

145

:

"It had to be me."

146

:

"I'm the cause of this."

147

:

"I must be not good enough."

148

:

No, none of that crossed my mind.

149

:

I knew this had nothing to do with me,

and it had everything to do with him.

150

:

That is one of the biggest wins because

Amanda, three years ago, who blamed

151

:

herself for everything, could never had

imagined that she would be here after a

152

:

breakup- confident, collected, and calm.

153

:

Amanda, three years ago

would've blamed herself.

154

:

She would've begged.

155

:

She didn't have a strong sense of

self like this Amanda does now.

156

:

I used my voice confidently

from the beginning.

157

:

I gave myself space to learn and grow.

158

:

I let my confidence and heart

shine till the very end.

159

:

I am so proud of myself.

160

:

I've grown by leaps and bounds with

my self-esteem and my self-confidence,

161

:

and in my healing journey."

162

:

I think it's so beautiful to look back

on my mindset just three days after

163

:

that breakup because for me- it shows

the power of the work that I've done on

164

:

myself for the messaging and the lessons

that I share on this very podcast or

165

:

in the master classes or on the blog.

166

:

Everything that I've shared through Dare

To Be Iconic- I have not only walked

167

:

the walk with it and talked the talk.

168

:

I am living proof that if you do

the work on yourself, no one can

169

:

shake you and that you can reign

radiantly, that you know your worth.

170

:

That's what I take away from this

journal entry and honestly from this

171

:

breakup, the external validation

that I used to seek in my previous

172

:

relationships, especially younger

Amanda, like 19, 20, 21 years old, right?

173

:

I was not seeking it.

174

:

I knew I was not seeking it

in this relationship, and even

175

:

after this relationship ended.

176

:

The internal validation that I built

myself based off the lessons that

177

:

I've learned and the work I have

done for myself shined through during

178

:

this breakup and continues to shine

through in this rebirth and this

179

:

evolution of who I am supposed to

be, the Amanda that I am supposed to

180

:

be in life, and it's so beautiful to

read because amanda, three years ago,

181

:

like I said, in that journal entry.

182

:

She would've taken this

breakup all upon herself.

183

:

She would've blamed herself.

184

:

She would've been like, what did I do?

185

:

I was the cause of this.

186

:

I, I, I.

187

:

When the matter of the fact ,radiant

icons, is sometimes it truly is not you,

188

:

and it has everything to do with them.

189

:

Love yourself more than

the potential of them.

190

:

I was falling for the glimpses

of potential someone gave me,

191

:

I wasn't allowing myself to be

loved in the way that I deserve.

192

:

I deserve to be loved

so loudly and so deeply.

193

:

And all that relationship gave

me all that he gave me, frankly,

194

:

was confusion and not clarity.

195

:

A man who is unsure about you,

radiant icons, is not the man for

196

:

you because your future partner, your

future husband, your future wife.

197

:

That future partner will

never make you feel confused.

198

:

They will only give you clarity,

and within those months of my

199

:

relationship, I was experiencing

more confusion because I was falling

200

:

for the potential or the glimpses of

potential that someone gave me, rather

201

:

than falling in love with myself more.

202

:

Even though I knew deep down, I knew

deep down that this relationship

203

:

had run its course because love

shouldn't be that damn hard.

204

:

I still was fighting for it.

205

:

I still was like, you know what?

206

:

I'm going to give it one more month

because I fight for the things I love,

207

:

but sometimes you have to be willing

to walk away, and that is the one

208

:

thing, the one thing that I'm like,

damn, I was too scared of it blowing

209

:

up in my face that I didn't walk away.

210

:

I was willing to fight.

211

:

I should have listened to my gut.

212

:

I kept fighting this resistance.

213

:

Love is not hard, radiant

icons, it is not hard.

214

:

You should not be fighting this hard.

215

:

You should not always be confused.

216

:

Love- safe love, Healthy love is clarity.

217

:

If you are experiencing confusion,

it's because you are following

218

:

and chasing that potential.

219

:

And you know what?

220

:

During the summer when it was really

rocky, and I look back at those

221

:

journal entries and I just feel so

bad for myself because I was trying to

222

:

convince myself that this was normal.

223

:

The confusion that I was experiencing was

normal and that resistance, and it's not.

224

:

It's not you guys.

225

:

It's not.

226

:

If you learn anything from this episode:

that confusion, that resistance.

227

:

You, you feel like you're butting

heads in a relationship all the time.

228

:

Constantly waking up not knowing

if that other person likes you,

229

:

not knowing their feelings.

230

:

That is not normal.

231

:

That is not normal.

232

:

But you know what?

233

:

That is the metamorphosis

I needed this summer.

234

:

This summer I turned iconic, right?

235

:

We're going all the way back.

236

:

We're pulling out all this stops

this episode, but honestly, this

237

:

was the summer that I turned iconic.

238

:

This was the summer of metamorphosis

and transformation because it's messy,

239

:

it's chaotic, and it's becoming, I

am becoming who I am supposed to be.

240

:

This relationship was that last

hurdle, that last challenge to prove

241

:

to myself that I can do scary thing.

242

:

I can put myself out there romantically.

243

:

I can date, I can hold my own, I can

articulate my thoughts and my feelings.

244

:

I, I can stand firm in my boundaries.

245

:

That was what I take

from this relationship.

246

:

I take that I don't need external

validation from anyone because I

247

:

built it so strong within myself.

248

:

I take that I deserve to be

loved so loudly and so deeply.

249

:

And if a man is unsure about

you, he is not the one for you.

250

:

Point blank and period.

251

:

That man is not for you.

252

:

And if he gives you more confusion

than clarity, girl, don't wait.

253

:

Walk away and reign radiantly And

that's what this new era, this

254

:

radiance reign era is all about.

255

:

And honestly, I also think this goes

back to intention setting right at the

256

:

beginning of this year, my intention

was to live my most iconic life, to

257

:

embrace this true essence of iconic,

and how beautiful is it that I am truly

258

:

embracing this next evolution of myself?

259

:

I am learning what the word

iconic means to me in a way that

260

:

I honestly didn't foresee coming.

261

:

I didn't see myself getting into a

relationship and then getting broken

262

:

up with, and then feeling this, this

feeling of liberation and freedom.

263

:

But you know what?

264

:

That's me learning this true essence

of iconic on what it means to me

265

:

because the first time in my 26

years of living, I truly am free.

266

:

I truly am free because I'm radiating

this confidence that, again, goes

267

:

back to me setting that intention

for chapter 26 of my life, right?

268

:

Radiant 26.

269

:

I wanted to radiate confidence, this

inner confidence like never before.

270

:

And I'm reaching this new level of

confidence that I've never experienced.

271

:

I've never felt so empowered in my body.

272

:

I've never felt so empowered in

my being and who I am becoming

273

:

that is radiating from within.

274

:

It's shining, and I know people can

feel it because my friends are even

275

:

complimenting me on Amanda, you look

lighter and brighter and just free.

276

:

And this shift in energy Radiant icons is

because I'm giving myself the permission

277

:

that I've never given myself before.

278

:

I'm giving myself permission to be free,

to experience joy, and to be unstoppable.

279

:

Give yourself this permission that

you've been maybe holding back,

280

:

give it to yourself in this era.

281

:

That is what this era is all about, and

I'm just so damn excited for you guys

282

:

because honestly, this is the character

development that we needed to get to

283

:

this next evolution to unlock this next

version of who we are supposed to be.

284

:

I'm so damn excited.

285

:

Let's reign radiantly together.

286

:

All right, radiance icons.

287

:

That is your tea time session for today.

288

:

If you enjoy today's episode, make

sure to leave a rating, a review to

289

:

tell your friends about us, to tell

everyone and anyone, because you

290

:

know, we love more radiant icons,

an our iconic community of ours.

291

:

But honestly, radiant icons.

292

:

I can't believe we made it

to the end of season two.

293

:

Like, oh my goodness.

294

:

And of course, obviously we're ending it

with one of the most unexpected bangers.

295

:

I mean, who would've.

296

:

Thought I would've gotten into a

relationship and then gotten out

297

:

of one within just one season.

298

:

Certainly not I, but you know what?

299

:

That's so iconic of me

and Well, I love you guys.

300

:

Thank you guys for being a part of this

journey through all the ups and the downs.

301

:

Season two has been just so iconic

and honestly, one of the most

302

:

amazing experiences of my life.

303

:

I've grown so much throughout this

podcast and throughout this season

304

:

in particular, and I'm just so

excited for season three, you guys.

305

:

Season three is gonna be even more

iconic, and you already know I have

:

a lot of tricks up my sleeve, so
