Amanda Paolicelli:

What's up, Radiant Icons and welcome back to

2

:

Dare To Be Iconic, the podcast made

for icons daring to be themselves.

3

:

I'm your host, Amanda Paolicelli, and for

today's Tea Time sesh, we are spilling

4

:

the tea all about the iconicness.

5

:

That was the Miami Grand Prix.

6

:

And let me tell you, when I said last

week that it was going to be iconic.

7

:

It lived up to that expectation.

8

:

Honestly, it exceeded it, and I am so

excited to spill the tea behind all

9

:

the behind the scenes of this weekend

with you guys right here, right now.

10

:

But before we get into that,

make sure to connect with me on

11

:

already know what I'm gonna say.

14

:

Make sure to connect with me on there.

15

:

It's Amanda Paolicelli all of my socials

are linked in the show notes below.

16

:

Now, radiant icons, let's get to Miami.

17

:

If I can think of one word that

encapsulates this entire weekend,

18

:

honestly, the entire past week, it would

be girlhood, it would be sisterhood,

19

:

it would be, in my personal opinion,

what I like to call it, icon hood.

20

:

So, are you ready?

21

:

radiant icons because your

tea time sesh is starting now.

22

:

You know, it wouldn't be dare to

be iconic if I didn't have some

23

:

iconic lessons or iconic takeaways

to take from my trip to Miami.

24

:

And that's exactly what we are breaking

down here today as I spilled the

25

:

tea behind all the behind the scenes

iconicness that was this entire week

26

:

of Miami, and to be honest with you,

yesterday, May 5th, when I woke up and

27

:

went straight into my nine to five,

I logged on my computer, went into

28

:

that staff meeting, I was like, wow.

29

:

I really am living the

Hannah Montana life.

30

:

I really am living the best of both

worlds because I just had the most

31

:

iconic week of my life juggling my nine

to five and going to all the amazing,

32

:

iconic events that were happening in

Miami for the Formula One Grand Prix.

33

:

And then I'm back to reality

working my nine to five and

34

:

then juggling Dare To Be Iconic.

35

:

But you know what?

36

:

I wouldn't have it any other

way because that means we get to

37

:

break down everything together.

38

:

And I kind of get to debrief with you

guys in real time because I am literally

39

:

recording this the day before this episode

comes out because there is just so much

40

:

going on that we need to break it down.

41

:

So I have four iconic lessons

from my trip to Miami.

42

:

And the first one starts with what I

said in the beginning of this episode.

43

:

What one word encapsulates my

experience of the Miami Grand Prix?

44

:

And that would be girlhood or like,

I like to call it, Icon Hood because

45

:

lesson number one for the Miami Grand

Prix is that community is everything.

46

:

And we rise together

when we come together.

47

:

And for me, this was so prevalent

throughout the entire weekend.

48

:

But if I can choose one exact moment

where I was like, wow, this really

49

:

is where community comes in hand.

50

:

This really is where your network

becomes your net worth because you know,

51

:

they say it all the time in, you know,

those professional settings of like,

52

:

yeah, your network is your net worth.

53

:

And I was like, yeah, like you're right.

54

:

Like whatever, blah, blah, blah.

55

:

'cause that opens doors for you.

56

:

But honestly, this past week in Miami

has proven that tenfold and when

57

:

we emphasized community and coming

together, we truly do rise together.

58

:

And that one moment, there's so many

moments that I can think of, but I think

59

:

Friday, for me personally, that first

day of the race was when I really saw

60

:

that community piece come to light.

61

:

For me, when I started Dare to Be Iconic

or even Let's Go all the way back, little

62

:

Baby Amanda, when she was thinking of

the life that she wanted for herself,

63

:

one of the things that I always would

tell people is that I think it's so

64

:

cool to have a community of people who

will champion you, who will elevate

65

:

you and uplift you, and that's what I

want to do when I build my empire and

66

:

wow, I'm already getting emotional.

67

:

But Friday was really when I saw

that whole vision come together

68

:

for me and how special Dare to be

Iconic is, and the impact that it is

69

:

making and just the iconic power of

friendship, as cheesy as that sounds.

70

:

That's when I really saw community come

together and that's when I really saw

71

:

a dream for me that I wanted so much

a wish I should say, because I just

72

:

thought it would be so cool, right?

73

:

To see it come true before my very

eyes is one of the most I iconic things

74

:

that I, I could ever ask for as a

young entrepreneur who is running her

75

:

own business that champions women.

76

:

And for me, it was Friday.

77

:

Now, Friday was by far the

best day for me throughout the

78

:

entire Grand Prix experience.

79

:

And I think that's because we started

off with the female quotient event,

80

:

which I will get to a little bit later

on for another lesson because that

81

:

event you guys, oh my God, I have never

felt cooler in my life than stepping

82

:

into that room for female quotient.

83

:

There were a lot of emotions behind

that exact moment that we will

84

:

get into later on in this episode,

but for me, we were able to come

85

:

together a female quotient, right?

86

:

Meet some of the lovely radiant

icons, some of my amazing friends

87

:

there, and then we all went to the

track together and we had Lando Bash.

88

:

Lando Bash, an iconic meetup for

fangirls by fangirls was a meetup that

89

:

my friend Kimi from DeluluForFastCars,

as you probably remember her from

90

:

the Spanish Grand Prix episode.

91

:

We came together, we created that

event, that meetup, and we co-hosted

92

:

it together on Friday at turn three.

93

:

And to see 20 amazing and beautiful

and inspirational radiant icons

94

:

come together and just love what

they love so unapologetically and

95

:

just be so bold in who they are.

96

:

Was such a pinch me moment for

myself and it really proved that

97

:

community truly is everything.

98

:

Because once Lando Bash ended

in quotation marks right, the

99

:

party really never stopped.

100

:

We all went together to the

Heineken viewing area, which is

101

:

this really cool like cover shaded

area that is right by the track.

102

:

I forget which straight it's by,

but there's TVs and then you see the

103

:

cars right in front of you, right?

104

:

And all I remember is just this

big group of girls dancing and

105

:

laughing and having the time of

their lives filling up this row.

106

:

And we were able to watch, you know,

sprint qualifying together and we all were

107

:

like screaming and yelling and holding

each other's hands when we saw Kimi

108

:

Antonelli make history as the youngest

pole sitter in F1 history for Sprint Quali

109

:

and like that moment right there will be

forever ingrained in my DNA because that

110

:

is the definition of girlhood and that

continued throughout the entire weekend.

111

:

On Saturday, I continued meeting up

with so many amazing radiant icons,

112

:

autumn, and Emmy and Erica and

Oceania and just, we were hanging out

113

:

the entire time and obviously I met

Katie there and you know Katie from

114

:

season two of this podcast, right?

115

:

An Everyday Icon.

116

:

I finally met Katie from Race Tips.

117

:

I just think it's so amazing the power of

Formula One and how it has brought me so

118

:

many amazing, iconic women into my life.

119

:

And I've created lifelong

friendships because of this sport.

120

:

Because this sport gave me the

permission to fan girl again.

121

:

This sport gave me friends

that will last a lifetime.

122

:

This sport gave me the confidence to

love what I love so unapologetically

123

:

that I can empower and champion women to

do the same, and to be able to go to a

124

:

race and see this sport in person that

brought so much joy, that brought so much

125

:

fullness and richness to my life, and get

to experience these once in a lifetime

126

:

memories with the women that I met through

this sport is something that is unmatched.

127

:

Something that I, you truly can't put

the words on it, but the energy that

128

:

we brought from Lando Bash to Sprint

qualifying to watching actual qualifying

129

:

at that like turn nine bridge viewing

area and running across to each gate.

130

:

And it's just all these amazing,

iconic women just celebrating and

131

:

loving the sport and just having

the time of their lives like that

132

:

is the energy that was encapsulating

the entire Miami Grand Prix weekend.

133

:

And honestly, the week too, it was

filled with so many amazing and powerful

134

:

and inspirational women that just made

me want to keep pushing forward and

135

:

fueling forward and doing what I do

and just meeting more amazing women.

136

:

And when I say community is everything,

that is what Miami proved to me time

137

:

and time again because it was the

women beside this sport that made me

138

:

feel safe, that made me feel inspired,

that fueled me to keep going forward.

139

:

They are the reason why I do what I do.

140

:

They are the reason why Grand Prix

weekends are so magical because I

141

:

am such a firm believer that Grand

Prix are for the girls and they

142

:

always will be because it's that

energy that I experienced throughout

143

:

the entire weekend that makes it so

magical and makes it so inspirational

144

:

and heartwarming and just like the

best thing in the world, you guys.

145

:

And I just think that Grand Prix

will always be for the girls.

146

:

It's so important to find the

women that will elevate and

147

:

champion and uplift you in life.

148

:

And that is what I have found, and

that is something that is so special.

149

:

And I'm just so, so grateful for

the sport that has cars go around

150

:

in circles that brought me some of

the most amazing women in my life.

151

:

So lesson number one is that

community is everything.

152

:

And when we come together, we rise

together and we're better than ever.

153

:

So lesson number two is daring to

be you unlocks doors and puts you in

154

:

rooms that you are meant to be in.

155

:

And when I think back on

this lesson in particular.

156

:

I think of the Female quotient event,

which I am so excited to finally

157

:

talk about because that event you

guys, oh my God, I have never been to

158

:

such a nice event before in my life.

159

:

Like that truly was like picture perfect,

like Pinterest board worthy event.

160

:

Like I just can't believe how incredibly

lucky I am to be in these rooms and

161

:

to be surrounded by so many women.

162

:

Again, so many women that

don't believe in competition.

163

:

They believe in collaboration.

164

:

They believe in creating something that

is bigger than themselves and coming

165

:

together to create a movement, to create

momentum, to keep on closing the gap and

166

:

fueling forward so that all of us can win.

167

:

And that is exactly what the

Female Quotient event was for

168

:

me, or at least what I took

from it as a young entrepreneur.

169

:

That was the lens that I was viewing

that event as for me personally.

170

:

And oh my gosh, you guys,

it did not disappoint.

171

:

I have always, always, always, actually,

when I started Dare to Be Iconic, I

172

:

wrote a list of partnerships that I would

love to have and that are like my dream

173

:

partnerships and my two dream partnerships

are F1 Academy and Female Quotient.

174

:

And to be in the room where these two

organizations, 'cause it wasn't just

175

:

female quotient, it was female quotient

and F1 Academy coming together for

176

:

a think lounge and to be in the room

with two of my dream partnerships and

177

:

getting to hear and be a part of these

important conversations that do affect

178

:

me as a small business owner, that do

affect me as a woman in sports that

179

:

do affect me as a female entrepreneur.

180

:

It was so amazing, and I know I keep

saying that everything's amazing and

181

:

iconic, but honestly like it's these

moments, these memories that make the

182

:

Grand Prix week and weekend, just so

memorable and just honestly one of

183

:

like the best weeks of my life because

I couldn't believe how lucky I was

184

:

to be a part of these conversations.

185

:

It's so important to be

surrounded by women, right?

186

:

We're going back to community, right?

187

:

Community is everything, and when

we come together, we rise together

188

:

and that's exactly what we were

doing in that female quotient.

189

:

F1 Academy, think Lounge.

190

:

We were coming together and having these

conversations that were necessary so

191

:

that we all can fuel and move forward

and make progress and close that gap.

192

:

And I just keep thinking that.

193

:

None of this would happen if I didn't

dare to be myself, because daring to

194

:

be myself, showing up authentically and

not apologizing for who I am and just

195

:

fully being myself so authentically,

so boldly, so loudly, allowed me to

196

:

show up in that room with Susie Wolf,

who I did meet the managing director

197

:

of Formula One Academy, which was the

most brain shattering moment of my life.

198

:

She's so incredibly nice and icon, I, I

just can't believe I got to be meet her.

199

:

But like to be in these rooms where it

was like the CEO of Female Quotient,

200

:

Susie Wolf, Lizzie Macintosh, all

these amazing intelligent women.

201

:

And the reason I was able to be

there, the reason that I was in that

202

:

room was because of the work that

I was doing with Dare To Be Iconic.

203

:

It was because I was daring

to be myself no matter what.

204

:

And that unlocks the door for me

to go to these events and make my

205

:

presence known and talk about Dare to

Be Iconic, and obviously debrief with

206

:

you guys afterwards and create these

connections and create this community

207

:

that is bigger than myself because that's

what I'm doing with Dare to Be Iconic.

208

:

I am creating a world.

209

:

I'm creating a movement

that is bigger than myself.

210

:

So to be in rooms where these women are

already doing it and I get to learn from

211

:

them is the most incredible thing ever.

212

:

And I just keep thinking back that, oh

my God, this all happened because I'm

213

:

living out the Dare to Be Iconic message.

214

:

If I didn't dare to be myself,

I wouldn't be where I am now.

215

:

I wouldn't have the community that I

have now, which is you guys, the radiant

216

:

icons that I love so incredibly much.

217

:

I am, I don't know why I'm getting

emotional again, but whenever I think of

218

:

you guys, I just get emotional because

it's like, wow, like we built this

219

:

together and we're doing this together.

220

:

And so the community that I've been

able to build through my work in Dare

221

:

to be Iconic and the rooms that I'm able

to be in because of Dare to Be Iconic,

222

:

is like the most mind blowing thing.

223

:

And it proves to me time and time

again the power of the Dare to be

224

:

iconic message because daring to

be yourself is the most powerful

225

:

thing that you can do for yourself.

226

:

And little baby Amanda just would not

believe the opportunities that she's had

227

:

this past week because little baby Amanda

was bullied for having these big dreams.

228

:

And to think that this Amanda now gets to

live out all those big dreams that little

229

:

baby Amanda got bullied for relentlessly

is like a big pinch me moment.

230

:

And it's, it's really cool.

231

:

And I'm at a loss for words and I

just feel so overwhelmingly grateful

232

:

that this is my life and that I

get to share it with you guys and

233

:

bring you along for this journey.

234

:

And that the message of Dare To Be iconic

is standing true time and time again.

235

:

And I have never been prouder of

the work that I have done and the

236

:

journey that we are going on together.

237

:

So yeah, lesson two proves time and

time again that daring to be yourself

238

:

will unlock doors for you that maybe

you never thought were possible.

239

:

You're kicking down the damn door

and you're in that room because

240

:

you were daring to be yourself.

241

:

You were daring to be iconic.

242

:

I think lesson three may

actually be my favorite.

243

:

And I know you guys are gonna say,

Amanda, you say that for every time

244

:

you make a guide for us, or every time

you have lessons for us, you always

245

:

say that lesson number three or guide

number three, or step number three,

246

:

whatever it is, is always your favorite.

247

:

You're right.

248

:

You are absolutely right.

249

:

Call me out on it.

250

:

Call me out on it time and time again.

251

:

Lesson three.

252

:

In this case, maybe one of my favorites,

honestly, it probably is my favorite

253

:

because lesson three is following your

passion, even when it feels scary.

254

:

That lesson is rooted in trust.

255

:

And as we know, last year was the

year of trust where I had to build

256

:

that foundation of trust from

ground zero to where it is now.

257

:

And it's still a learning process, okay?

258

:

I still have trust issues in every sense

of the word, but it's better, right?

259

:

That skill has been strengthened because

I worked on it so much last year.

260

:

So now, when I think

of lesson three, right?

261

:

When I think of following your

passion, even when it feels scary,

262

:

it all comes down to trusting your

heart that it will lead you to the

263

:

rooms that you are meant to be in.

264

:

Which also ties perfectly back to what

we mentioned in lesson two, right?

265

:

Because daring to be yourself

is rooted in trusting yourself.

266

:

And when it comes to trusting yourself.

267

:

At least for me, it's

always the hardest thing.

268

:

It's hard for me to trust my gut.

269

:

It's hard for me to trust my instinct,

but because last year I learned how to

270

:

trust myself and really listen to my

gut and really strengthen that skill,

271

:

it allowed me to continue to follow

my passion even when it feels scary.

272

:

I literally do the scary thing because

I know what's going to teach me more

273

:

about myself, but I also know that my

heart, if it's telling me to do this, it

274

:

will not lead me in the wrong direction.

275

:

It will always lead me in the right one.

276

:

Our gut is never wrong.

277

:

Our instincts are never wrong.

278

:

So win our gut.

279

:

When our instinct.

280

:

When our heart is telling us to go

after something to follow that passion,

281

:

even when it feels scary, even when

it feels daunting, even when it feels

282

:

overwhelming, we have to do it because

that means we are meant to do it.

283

:

That means we're supposed to

do it, that we have to do it.

284

:

And there are two scenarios

throughout the entire weekend that

285

:

I think ring true to this lesson.

286

:

The first one is the F1 Academy

Premiere, it's basically F1 academy's

287

:

version of Drive to Survive.

288

:

So when I think of the F1 Academy

Premier and how it applies to lesson

289

:

three, follow your passion even when

it feels scary, I was in that room

290

:

because I continued to follow my dreams.

291

:

I continued to show up and work

for what I wanted, and I got to

292

:

witness history because of that.

293

:

Being in the room watching that first

episode, being in the room with Reese

294

:

Witherspoon and Susie Wolf and the

past and current F1 Academy drivers

295

:

before anyone else is something

that I truly will never forget.

296

:

And it all comes down to trusting

my heart will lead me into the

297

:

rooms that I'm meant to be in.

298

:

And even when I hit roadblock after

roadblock, I continue to show up.

299

:

And because I continue to show up, because

I continue to do it when it's scary and

300

:

because I keep on following my passion,

I get to be in rooms and witness history.

301

:

I get to be in the rooms where these

conversations, these decisions,

302

:

these history making moments are

happening because I continue to

303

:

trust my heart that it will lead me

exactly where I am supposed to be.

304

:

Also when I think of lesson three,

I think of the Williams fan zone.

305

:

Now you guys know the most iconic

way to start off your grand prix

306

:

weekend is at the Williams fan zone.

307

:

I love Williams.

308

:

I love their culture.

309

:

I love what they do for fans.

310

:

And you know, I had the most

amazing time in Spain with them.

311

:

I mean, that's where I

got to meet Logan Sargent.

312

:

That's where I got to meet Lia

Block and Zach and Luke and Franco.

313

:

Like, I got to meet everyone in

Spain at the Williams fan zone.

314

:

And you know, the girls and I

felt so comfortable and safe that

315

:

we spent the whole day there.

316

:

And Kimi and I did that again this year.

317

:

We love what they are creating

and doing for fans and the

318

:

experiences that they bring to us.

319

:

And one of the experiences

is their q and as.

320

:

And for this day that we went, it was

Lia Block and James Vowels and which

321

:

James is the team principal for Williams,

for all my non F1 Radiance icons who

322

:

are enjoying this teatime session.

323

:

Um, but Lia Block is the F1 Academy

driver for Williams and James Vowels is

324

:

the team principal for Williams Racing.

325

:

And we were able to speak

with them in a q and a format.

326

:

And when it came to Lia's q and a, she

was actually the first one of the evening.

327

:

And I always have my

questions prepped, right?

328

:

Because we know James, James the

host, um, not James Vowels, right.

329

:

James?

330

:

That is the host for the

Williams fan zones q and a.

331

:

Um, and he's like, get your questions

ready, like make sure this and that,

332

:

la la and so Kimmy and I always

have our questions ready, right?

333

:

We are prepped, we are prepared,

we are ready to ask the questions

334

:

when they give us the mic.

335

:

But all of a sudden when it came to Lia's

q and a, which was the first q and a

336

:

of the evening, I got really insecure.

337

:

I started doubting myself.

338

:

I got in my head, I was like, oh,

I don't know if I should ask this.

339

:

Like, maybe it's like not a good question.

340

:

Like maybe it's really dumb.

341

:

Like she's gonna think X, Y, and Z.

342

:

Like I was telling myself all

these untrue things, right?

343

:

Because I got this wave of insecurity

and I've never experienced that before

344

:

because as you guys know, if there is an

opportunity for me to speak to someone

345

:

that I want to speak to or there's just

an opportunity in general, I'm gonna kick

346

:

down that damn door and make it happen.

347

:

But in this instance, when it came

to asking Lia a question, all of

348

:

a sudden I got really in my head

and I got really insecure and

349

:

I don't know what it was in me.

350

:

Well, no.

351

:

I do know actually it was lesson three.

352

:

I was following my passion

even when it feels scary.

353

:

So I, I trust in my heart because my heart

was yelling at me to ask Lia my question,

354

:

which was, what has been your most

iconic moment of your career thus far?

355

:

And not only did Lia love the question,

she was living for it, but when she

356

:

came around and was signing stuff,

I had her sign my phone case, she

357

:

stopped before she signed it and

was like, I loved your question.

358

:

Literally my day was

made because me right.

359

:

Before I asked that

question, I was in my head.

360

:

I told myself all of these untrue things.

361

:

I told myself all of these lies.

362

:

I made up all these situations

and scenarios because I

363

:

started doubting myself.

364

:

I started getting insecure, but it was

because I pushed through my insecurity.

365

:

I acknowledged it, I felt it, but I pushed

through it that I got to have that moment.

366

:

And so for Lia to reassure me basically,

and be like, I loved your question.

367

:

Prove to me that even when it

feels scary, even when it feels

368

:

daunting, even when you don't know

what the outcome is going to be.

369

:

You still have to push through.

370

:

You still have to trust your heart, right?

371

:

My, my heart and my brain and

everything in me was saying,

372

:

do it, Amanda, raise your hand.

373

:

You're not going to regret it.

374

:

But it was the insecurity that was washing

over me that was almost debilitating

375

:

me from going after something that I

wanted, going after this opportunity

376

:

that was presented to myself.

377

:

And I've never experienced that before,

but I'm kind of glad I did because it

378

:

proved to me that even when it's scary, I

have to acknowledge the insecurity, right?

379

:

But I also have to push through it

because you'll never know the end result.

380

:

If I never asked Lia that question, I

would've never had that moment with her.

381

:

Right?

382

:

But because I pushed through

my insecurity, I pushed through

383

:

that wave of doubt that I was

battling, and I still did it.

384

:

I still followed my passion,

even when it was scary for me.

385

:

I was able not only to ask my question

and to be honest, I do think she loved

386

:

my question because you could just see

it in her face like she like loved it.

387

:

But to also have that personal moment with

her when she was signing my phone case

388

:

and being like, I loved your question.

389

:

Like she looked me dead in my eyes,

stopped before she signed my phone

390

:

case and said, I loved your question.

391

:

That is everything to me.

392

:

That proved to me that lesson three stands

true because your gut and your heart and

393

:

your instinct will never lead you astray.

394

:

It will always lead you exactly

where you were supposed to be.

395

:

And in that moment, even though I

was fighting a lot of inner demons.

396

:

I was supposed to be there and I

was supposed to ask that question

397

:

so that I can have that moment with

Leah Block and debrief it with you

398

:

guys here in the pod because we need

to spill the tea about everything.

399

:

And if I'm being honest, that that was

a moment where I really didn't know

400

:

why I was feeling that way, but I think

it's all making sense now that I, that I

401

:

rambled to you guys on this mic about it.

402

:

And the last iconic lesson, or take

away from the Miami experience because

403

:

it was an experience radiant icons,

it would be celebrate every moment

404

:

because you're living the dream.

405

:

As I mentioned earlier in this

episode, I've always had really

406

:

big dreams like Little Baby Amanda.

407

:

Dreams so big, right?

408

:

She was a small girl with

big dreams, fun facts.

409

:

That actually was supposed to be the

name of this podcast before I came

410

:

up with the concept of my business.

411

:

Just, just a fun fact.

412

:

Um, but I've always been a small

girl with very big dreams, and

413

:

with that my mind is always racing.

414

:

My mind is always thinking about

the next opportunity, the next

415

:

pathway to get to where I want to be.

416

:

It's always forward thinking, right?

417

:

And my brain truly never

stopped, and sometimes that's

418

:

really, really exhausting.

419

:

And I, I, I, I'm working on it, you

guys, but when it comes to celebrating

420

:

every moment because I'm living the

dream, sometimes it's hard for me to

421

:

recognize the magic while I'm in it.

422

:

It's a lot easier for me to kind of like

take the step back after the trip and like

423

:

break down these lessons and like debrief

with you guys and spill the tea about it.

424

:

Like that's easy for me to do, right?

425

:

Because it allows me to like process

my thoughts and have that self

426

:

reflection and self introspection

and all that, like good stuff.

427

:

But something that I'm really

working on this year is recognizing

428

:

the magic while I'm in it.

429

:

These are the moments that

make life worth living, right?

430

:

Getting to meet so many amazing women.

431

:

Getting to be in the rooms that I want to

be in, that I've always strived to be in.

432

:

I'm there, I'm in those rooms.

433

:

I'm having those conversations.

434

:

I'm being an active participant in

change that I want to see for women like.

435

:

Sometimes it's hard for me when

I'm experiencing these once in a

436

:

lifetime moments to truly take it in

and truly just like be there and be

437

:

present 'cause I'm always thinking

of, okay, what can I do with this?

438

:

What can I do next with this?

439

:

Where's the next pathway?

440

:

What's the type of

content I need for this?

441

:

Right?

442

:

Sometimes I have trouble

really just like taking it in.

443

:

And I've made a conscious effort this

year especially to be more in the

444

:

moment and more present and to recognize

the magic while I'm currently in it.

445

:

So like when the podcast was

a year on March 27th, right?

446

:

Like I was so in that moment, I

was so present with celebrating

447

:

with my family and celebrating my

accomplishments with my loved ones.

448

:

Like I was so present in that moment

and that was something new for me.

449

:

The only time I'm ever really present in

the moment would honestly be my birthday,

450

:

like, you know, National Amanda Day.

451

:

It's a national holiday.

452

:

Like for me, I'm able to

recognize the magic of that day

453

:

and that moment obviously, and

like be fully present in it.

454

:

Right.

455

:

But when it comes to dare to be

iconic wins in general, right?

456

:

For me it's, it's really hard

to kind of celebrate them in the

457

:

moment and take that gratitude.

458

:

'cause I'm always

thinking of what is next?

459

:

What can I do with this?

460

:

How can I learn and grow, right?

461

:

I don't take the moment of, let

me just sit in this, let me sit

462

:

in this feeling of gratitude.

463

:

Let me sit in this feeling of

joy and happiness and all of it.

464

:

And this year I've been working

on that more and more, and I

465

:

was able to do that this year.

466

:

But specifically for this event, and

I should say for this experience,

467

:

because it's not an event at

this point, it's an experience.

468

:

It's a week of iconicness and every

magical moment, every iconic moment

469

:

that I mentioned here, right, that I

spilled the tea about with you guys were

470

:

moments where I really allowed myself to

celebrate that win of being in that room,

471

:

of meeting this person of X, Y, and Z.

472

:

Because I've worked so incredibly

hard for dare to be iconic and

473

:

for everything that I have created

within this dare to be iconic world.

474

:

So yes, I'm going to cherish these moments

'cause I worked too damn hard not to.

475

:

And at least that's

what I'm telling myself.

476

:

And at least that's what I'm putting

into practice this, this time, this year.

477

:

Um, because I need to do that.

478

:

And I know a lot of us, you know,

we, we kind of bypass these big and

479

:

small moments in our lives and we only

look to those really, really big, big

480

:

milestones that we wanna achieve, whether

that's college graduation, whether

481

:

that's buying a house, whether that's

marriage, engagement, so on so forth.

482

:

Right?

483

:

Getting that first big girl job.

484

:

It's the little moments in

between that build momentum

485

:

to those bigger wins, right?

486

:

So we need to celebrate those smaller

wins, those smaller iconic moments

487

:

'cause that builds momentum to get to

that big win of marriage, engagement,

488

:

buying a house, graduating college,

nailing your first big girl job.

489

:

All of those big wins had

smaller wins that built up to it.

490

:

And for me, I'm learning that I need to,

I actually really do need to celebrate

491

:

those smaller wins in my life, because

those bigger wins of that one year of

492

:

the podcast, in October, it'll be two

years of my business of Dare to be iconic.

493

:

Like that's insane, right?

494

:

Those are big milestones and

obviously I'm gonna celebrate,

495

:

but what about those smaller ones?

496

:

What are the smaller wins

that I was able to accomplish?

497

:

Right.

498

:

I was able to go to the Miami Grand

Prix . I was able to meet Susie Wolf,

499

:

managing director of Formula One

Academy, a dream partnership of mine.

500

:

I was able to attend an event for female

Quotient F1 Academy, two of my dream

501

:

partnerships for Dare to Be Iconic, right?

502

:

I was in that room.

503

:

I was able to be in the room with Reese

Witherspoon, miss Elle Woods herself.

504

:

I was able to meet Abby Pulling World

Champion of F1 Academy from last year.

505

:

I was able to meet Alba Current F1

Academy driver that I literally am

506

:

so obsessed with, like I love her.

507

:

Like I was able to meet these people and

be in these rooms and also experience

508

:

these once in a lifetime memories with

so many iconic women that I wouldn't

509

:

have met if it wasn't for this sport, and

it's just like I need to celebrate that.

510

:

Lando Bash wouldn't have happened

if I never met Kimi in Spain and

511

:

we didn't come up with this idea

together and put it on its feet.

512

:

I would've never met all these amazing,

iconic, radiant icons if I never

513

:

took a chance on myself on October

th,:

514

:

None of anything that I just mentioned

would've never happened if I didn't

515

:

take in all the small wins that led

to these big ass moments in my life.

516

:

So if there is one thing that

you take away from this episode,

517

:

please let it be that you need to

celebrate every moment in your life.

518

:

Whether it's small or big, you need to

celebrate it because this is everything

519

:

that you have ever dreamed for.

520

:

It's coming true for you,

it's coming true, and you

521

:

need to just be in the moment.

522

:

You need to be present, and you need

to recognize the magic while you're

523

:

in it because there is no other,

because there is no other amazing

524

:

feeling in this world than being in

the moment of celebrating your win.

525

:

That is your tea time slash

for today, Radiant Icons.

526

:

If you enjoyed today's episode, make

sure to subscribe to leave a rating, a

527

:

review to tell your friends about us,

to tell everyone and anyone, because

528

:

you know, we love more radiant icons

in our iconic community of ours.

529

:

But honestly, you guys, Miami was a dream

and I am so incredibly grateful that

530

:

not only do I get to share these iconic

moments and experiences with you guys,

531

:

whether that's in person or online, right

through my podcast, through my content,

532

:

whatever it is, right through the blog.

533

:

Like whatever way that I get

to share these experiences.

534

:

I'm just so incredibly grateful that

I get to do that and that I also

535

:

got to hug and meet so many of you

guys in person this week in Miami.

536

:

Like I was telling someone that I'm

very close to now, and you probably get

537

:

the hint of who I'm talking about if

you've been on my Instagram or my TikTok

538

:

or if you were honestly at Lando Bash

because I was introducing that person

539

:

to like everyone through the phone.

540

:

Um, I was telling him that

541

:

sometimes I truly can't believe how

lucky I am to have such an iconic group

542

:

of radiant icons who are on the same

mission as I am, which is to dare to be

543

:

yourself and to live life so boldly and

unapologetically, and that we get to come

544

:

together and meet in person and just live

life and love what life has to offer and

545

:

to uplift each other and champion each

other and elevate each other, right?

546

:

Like I am so beyond grateful for the

community that we have created together.

547

:

And it's so magical to see us all come

in person and just be like the best

548

:

of friends and it's all collaboration

and there's no competition and it's

549

:

such an amazing iconic environment.

550

:

And I'm just so, I'm just so grateful

and I'm gonna cry again because I

551

:

think it's so cool that we have a

group of iconic radiant icons that

552

:

are just like loving life and living

out the Dare to be iconic message

553

:

and are just there for one another.

554

:

And like the support in this

community, in this Radiant

555

:

Icon Club is just so so insane.

556

:

And I'm just so, so proud of you guys

and I'm so proud of us and I'm, I'm

557

:

proud of what we have done and what

we will continue to do together.

558

:

And I am just so, so grateful.

559

:

I was gonna curse and I'm trying not

to curse, but I'm just so grateful

560

:

that you guys are here on this journey

with me and that I get to be a part

561

:

of your dare to be iconic journey.

562

:

This is like the best thing ever.

563

:

And like Little Baby Amanda would

literally just be like, wow.

564

:

Like just so in awe that the one

thing that she always wanted, which

565

:

was a community, right, of people

that would back each other and

566

:

support each other and just like

champion each other is like happening.

567

:

And it's really cool to

see your dreams come true.

568

:

Of course, I'm crying

again, but I'm just, yeah.

569

:

I just love you guys so much.

570

:

Thank you for changing my life.

571

:

I really do mean that from

the bottom of my heart.

572

:

Thank you for changing my life because

none of this would've been possible

573

:

if you guys weren't supporting Dare To

Be Iconic from the very beginning when

574

:

it was just a blog, and here we are.

575

:

Oh my God.

576

:

I feel like sobbing right now.

577

:

But

578

:

I'm so proud of us.

579

:

I'm so incredibly proud and

I love you guys so much.

580

:

Okay, I'm gonna go.

581

:

I'm gonna stop crying, but I

will talk to you guys next week.

582

:

Remember, radiant icons.

583

:

Dare to be iconic.

584

:

Bye.
